Windows Phone Accessory Review: Clingo Car Mount

One "must have" accessory for my Windows Phone is a good car cradle or mount. These mounts come in handy when you need to keep an eye on your Windows Phone (e.g. navigation) without running the risk of the phone sliding across your dash or bouncing off the passenger seat. The Clingo line of car mounts take on this task from a unique approach.

While I have my reservations on the sticky pad, overall the Clingo car mount performed well. The Clingo mount held the heavy weight Titan in place nicely and handled the bumps of the road equally as nice.

Does what its Supposed to Do!

I bought this for my HTC Arrive WP7, and it stuck so tightly to the phone that, a couple of times, it pulled the back off of it! Now I have an iPhone 4S, in a case, and I use it continually while at home - I like the fact that its very sturdy, and that its at the exact height for me to see my phone. I can even hold the phone with it while Im on a call. I dont have to pull it off! Thank you, Clingo peeps!

Pros: Hold strong, no need to remove the phone from podium when typing.
Cons: Too Strong! This requires a little bit of finess to remove from the podium. Dont expect to remove it easily with one hand. Its a two handed slow peeling process.

I recently purchased the Clingo Podium and I like it quite a bit. I have my HTC Arrive on it and like how easily i can switch it from portrait to landscape mode. I usually have it opened throughout the day and type my messages without the need to remove the phome.

Pros: Its a good idea
Cons: Does not work. Will not hold phone when on its side.

The holder worked for two nights. The next two nights the phone fell off in the middle of the night. Cleaned the podium it got very sticky again but still did now work. It looks like the sticky part is not making good contact with the phone. Would like suggestion on how to fix it or return it.
